1. The agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and [Company legal name], [Registered address] ("we", "us"), and govern your use of the kloudmeet.com website, the Kloud Meet web app at meet.kloud.cn and the Kloud Meet desktop app (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, or by joining or hosting a meeting, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization to these Terms.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least [13 / 16] years old, and old enough to agree to these Terms where you live.
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure. Tell us at [Contact email] if you think someone else has accessed it.
- You can sign up with an email and password or with Google sign-in.
- Guests can join a meeting from a browser without an account. These Terms still apply to guests' use of the Service.
3. The Service
Kloud Meet lets you hold meetings on documents (LiveDoc), record them and review them as replays with transcripts and AI summaries. We are continually improving the Service, so features may change, and some features may be labeled beta or preview. We will try to give notice before removing a significant paid feature.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- break any law, or record, monitor or share people's communications without the consent the law requires;
- upload or share content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights;
- harass, threaten, defame or discriminate against anyone, or share sexual content involving minors;
- distribute malware, spam or phishing, or collect other users' information without permission;
- misuse remote control or screen annotation, for example by taking control of someone's computer without their clear permission;
- probe, disrupt or overload the Service, get around usage limits, or access it other than through our interfaces;
- reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows;
- resell the Service without our written agreement.
We may remove content or restrict accounts that break these rules.
5. Your content
"Your content" means everything you or your participants put into the Service: documents, chat messages, shared files, audio, video, recordings, annotations and whiteboard content, plus the transcripts, translations and AI summaries generated from them.
- You own your content. We do not claim ownership of it.
- You give us a limited licence to host, store, process, transmit and display your content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service for you, including sending it to the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy.
- You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights needed to upload and share it.
- If you create a public replay link, anyone with the link can view that replay. You can make it private again at any time [confirm].
- If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
6. Recording and consent
Laws in many places require the consent of everyone in a conversation before it is recorded or transcribed. The host is responsible for obtaining any consent required by law from all participants before starting a recording, captions or transcription, and for telling participants how the recording will be used and shared.
To help, Kloud Meet shows participants a notice when a meeting is being recorded [confirm notice wording and timing]. This notice does not replace the host's own legal obligations.
7. AI features
Features such as AI summaries, chapters, LiveDoc AI, AI Present and caption translation are generated automatically. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of context. Review it before relying on it, especially for important decisions. [Confirm ownership of AI output and any additional AI terms]
8. Subscriptions and billing
The Free plan is available at no charge with the limits shown on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly.
- Payments: processed by Stripe [billing not live yet].
- Renewal: [Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before renewal.]
- Cancellation: [How to cancel; access continues until the end of the paid period.]

- Team plans: [Seat changes, minimum seats, proration]
9. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, Google sign-in and payment processing) and may link to other websites. Their own terms apply to your use of their services, and we are not responsible for them.
10. Desktop app
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Kloud Meet desktop app to access the Service. The app may update itself automatically [confirm]. Remote control and screen annotation work only when the other participant grants permission.
11. Enterprise and self-hosted
If your organization uses Kloud Meet under an enterprise order form or agreement, including a private or self-hosted deployment, that agreement takes precedence over these Terms where they conflict [confirm].
12. Suspension and termination
- You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
- We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
- After termination, you can export your content for [X days], after which we may delete it as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Sections that by their nature should survive termination (for example, sections 5, 13, 14 and 15) continue to apply.
13. Disclaimers
Except as expressly stated in these Terms, and to the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that captions, translations, transcripts or AI output will be accurate. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so they may not apply to you.
14. Limitation of liability
[Limitation of liability clause to be drafted by counsel: exclusion of indirect and consequential damages; cap on aggregate liability (for example, the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or a fixed amount for free users); carve-outs required by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, and mandatory consumer rights.]
15. Governing law and disputes
[Governing law]. [Courts or arbitration seat, language and process]. If you are a consumer, you keep any protections given to you by the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If the changes are significant, we will tell you by email or in the app at least [X days] before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new Terms apply. If you do not agree, you can stop using the Service and delete your account.
